This week I was lucky enough to meet the talented Hannah Simpson who is the newest member at Dead Swanky salon in Fayetteville Arkansas. I absolutely love walking into this salon because everyone is so welcoming, and did I mention it's COMPLETELY GORGEOUS. The whole salon is a total dream, I wish I could go there everyday and get dolled up!
For the blog this week I wanted to showcase a makeup look that I would rock to a football tailgate. I usually dress pretty comfortable for football games, but I always want my hair and makeup to be on fleek! And with Hannah working at Dead Swanky now, she made all of my makeup dreams come true.
We went with a sort of dramatic eye that would really make a simple outfit pop! My favorite part of the look would either have to be the AMAZING winged liner, that could literally cut someone it looked so sharp, or the ombre gold glitter lip. Hannah really made everything look so easy and effortless and it was such a blast getting to know her. One thing I throughly enjoyed about getting my makeup done by Hannah was the fact that she described how she was doing my makeup, and why it was important to use the products a certain way. So next time when I am applying makeup at home I will know what to do!
Also, I am really excited to announce that Dead Swanky will be doing a giveaway this weekend as well. For everyone that wears a "Dead Swanky Loves The Hogs" sticker and posts it to Instagram with the hashtags #deadswanky and #walkthiswray you will be entered into win a fabulous gift set of Kerastase products that is valued at $500. Also, you can be entered into win the gift set if you rate/review the salon through Facebook, Yelp or Google. Pretty simple concept to win such an amazing prize!
All in all I had such a fabulous time getting my makeup done at Dead Swanky and I would highly suggest Hannah Simpson for an occasion. You can book your appointment through Dead Swanky's website, look up their offered services, and even see a salon tour!
