Kansas City

For my 20th birthday this year my mom decided to be the best mom ever and take me to Kansas City for a weekend filled with fun. On our first day we went to the Kansas City Plaza and shopped till we dropped. My go to stores when going to KC are Free People, Urban Outfitters, H&M, American Apparel, Anthropology, and Forever 21. I basically spent every penny I have ever saved, but I came out with so many treasures. That night I got to see my one true love, Adam Levine, in concert. I have been to a lot of concerts, but so far, Maroon Five has been my favorite. Adam sang basically ever number 1 hit he has ever made and I was completely blown away. I don't think he took a five minute break the whole concert, he is truly talented. After the big concert night, my mom and I decided to take a trip to the Kansas City zoo, which was actually really fun (even though I was the only kid their not in a stroller). I have been to a couple zoo's in my life, but not any that have been super memorable. This one was HUGE, I mean we had to carry a map with us at all times to get around that place, but thankfully the weather was sunny and 75 and couldn't be more perfect. After about 3 hours looking at the lions and tigers and bears OH MY we went to the cheese cake factory to top off the weekend! Overall one of the best birthdays to date. I can't wait to see what we do for the big 2 1.
